Job summary

Ecolab in Salt Lake City seeks a field-based pest control professional to join a paid 5-week training program and develop expertise in detection, elimination, and prevention.

You will work with hospitality and foodservice customers, applying science-based solutions, documenting issues with handheld equipment, and delivering timely service. Must have a valid driver's license and be ready for night shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience required.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Available for overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to pass background checks and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish effective working relationships with commercial customers, including hospitality and foodservice industries.
• Partner with customers on best practices to identify and solve pest elimination needs.
• Maintain expertise in Ecolab’s product and service offerings to enhance service and sales.
• Use handheld equipment to document structural, sanitation, and pest issues and deliver timely, high-quality service.
