Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Pest Control Consultant to sell pest management services to residential customers and assess homes for pest issues. You will collaborate with the service and sales teams to develop compelling proposals and close opportunities, including follow-ups on prior quotes.

You’ll handle on-site assessments, explain treatment options, and ensure customer satisfaction while traveling within your territory as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license from your state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
• Prefer at least 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience.
• Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance to residential customers.
• Visually inspect homes for pests and harborage, assess findings, and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians to pursue opportunities.
• Develop proposals to address pest issues and upsell services.
• Complete Home diagram using Sales CRM to map challenges and opportunities.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure quality outcomes.
