Job summary

EcoShield Pest Solutions in Houston, TX is seeking a Service Manager to lead Field Managers and Service Technicians, driving daily routes and services for our recurring customers. This role focuses on hiring, training, and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and identify growth opportunities.

You will recruit and coach staff, monitor route performance, and ensure safety compliance while managing budgets and coordinating with Sales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pest control experience and previous management experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver's license and have 3+ consecutive years of driving history.
• Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop Service Technicians to support team performance, employee engagement, and operational goals.
• Provide ongoing field coaching, performance feedback, and accountability to ensure team members meet service quality, productivity, safety, and customer experience expectations.
• Monitor operational performance, including route efficiency, service completion, customer retention, inventory utilization, and service quality metrics to identify opportunities and improve execution in partnership with Field Managers, Technicians and Sales.
• Support field operations as needed by running service routes, auditing daily service tickets, assisting with incident reporting, managing expenses within budget, and participating in weekly leadership meetings.
• Make day-to-day operational decisions related to service delivery, scheduling priorities, customer escalations, and resource allocation within established guidelines.
• Promote adherence to company safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements while ensuring service teams operate in a safe and compliant manner.
