Job summary

Big Time Pest Control is seeking a Pest Control Manager to lead a team of field technicians and keep a busy service operation on track with high standards. You will partner with technicians, routing, and customer service to ensure timely, compliant service and strong customer satisfaction.

You will coach technicians, monitor routes, resolve customer concerns, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and licensing compliance as the company grows in California and beyond.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of leadership or management experience.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve concerns.
• Ability to organize competing priorities and adapt to change.
• Coaching approach with clear accountability.
• Licensing: Pest control branch 2 preferred, otherwise strong field ops exp.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Ability to perform field duties, including light to moderate lifting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and coach technicians through regular check-ins, field visits, and clear performance feedback.
• Monitor daily routes and work with routing to address scheduling changes and capacity.
• Ensure services are completed on time and per customer instructions and standards.
• Investigate customer concerns, communicate professionally, and coordinate prompt solutions.
• Review service notes for accuracy, completeness, and timely follow-up.
• Help technicians troubleshoot pest issues and develop service plans.
• Conduct field ride-alongs and quality checks, providing clear feedback.
• Reinforce safe driving, application practices, vehicle standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify recurring problems and work with the team to improve operations.
• Help recruit, onboard, and develop technicians as the company grows.
