Job summary

Coventry City Council is recruiting for a Pest Control Officer to respond to requests for pest control treatments across domestic and commercial properties. The role also provides support for the dog enforcement section as needed.

You will service commercial pest management contracts, maintain up-to-date records of actions taken, and work with colleagues to deliver effective pest control services for residents and businesses in Coventry.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and RSPH Certificate level 2 in pest control.
• Knowledge and experience dealing with a variety of pests.
• Experience dealing with pests in commercial environments.
• Experience working with the public.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Ability to drive a council vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Responding to requests for pest control treatments in domestic and commercial properties.
• Servicing commercial pest management contracts to ensure businesses are kept free from damage by pests.
• Keeping up to date records and recording actions taken.
