Job summary

PestCo is seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician in Tucson, AZ to perform scheduled pest control visits, educate clients, and provide effective treatment options. You will travel as needed, maintain vehicles and equipment, and ensure safety and compliance with company protocols.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication and customer service skills, and a valid driver’s license. Prior pest control experience or licensing is preferred, with full benefits once hired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License (Preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive and professional relationship with clients.
• Willing to travel with overnight stays.
• Provide consistent service per company protocols and training.
• Complete daily scheduled appointments & paperwork.
• Educate clients on pest conditions and proper treatment options.
• Offer additional services (when applicable).
• Comply with all safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and state-compliant vehicle.
• Maintain clean and functional service equipment.
• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.
• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.
