Qualifications

• Must hold a national recognized personal training certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35+ pounds.
• Excellent communication with guests and associates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Personal Training department for a designated Genesis location, including recruiting, hiring, scheduling and training new personal trainers.
• Ensure profitability of the personal training program by overseeing and following up with new members, department goals and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in training and education of all personal training staff.
• Maintain flexible scheduling to meet member needs and club operations.
• Track and record all new member fitness consultations and personal training sessions for reporting.
• Meet with Club Manager regularly to maintain club requirements and operations.
• Prepare profitability/goal reports weekly and monthly for review with the District Fitness Manager.
• Ensure required documentation is completed timely.
• Inspect trainers for proper new member follow-up and maintain equipment; update tracking systems.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain professional club demeanor.
