Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a capable leader to oversee the Personal Training department at a designated location. You will recruit, hire, schedule, and train trainers while driving profitability and member satisfaction.

Responsibilities include tracking member consultations, reporting results, and ensuring compliant operations with club leadership and policies. A strong team culture and emergency responsiveness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a national recognized personal training certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to recruit, hire, schedule and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Personal Training department for a designated Genesis location.
• Recruit, hire, schedule and train new personal trainers.
• Ensure profitability of the personal training program and customer satisfaction.
• Track member consultations and training sessions for reporting.
• Meet with Club Manager to maintain club operations.
• Prepare profitability/goal reports with the District Fitness Manager.
• Ensure documentation is completed promptly.
• Maintain equipment and update online tracking system.
• Respond quickly to emergencies.
• Perform all duties as necessary for personal trainers and other duties as assigned.
• Comply with Genesis Health Club staff policy handbook.
