Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs in West Des Moines, IA, seeks a dedicated Personal Trainer Supervisor to oversee components of the PT department at a designated location. You will recruit new clients, manage personal training sessions, and help drive profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.

This role requires weekend, evening, and holiday availability, CPR and national PT certification, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must hold a national recognized personal training certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate clearly.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35+ pounds.
• Availability for weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, recruit, and engage members into personal training programs.
• Maintain flexible scheduling to meet member and club needs.
• Record all new member consultations and PT sessions for reporting.
• Ensure timely completion of required daily reports and checklists.
• Inspect the department for proper new member integration.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and assist as needed.
• Lead and assign duties for PT staff and maintain professional conduct.
• Contribute to developing strategies to meet department goals and staff development.
