Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs in Des Moines is seeking a Personal Training Manager to lead the PT department at a designated location. You will recruit, hire, schedule and train personal trainers while driving profitability and ensuring top member satisfaction.

Responsibilities include staff development, monitoring consultations and sessions, reporting on profitability, maintaining club operations, and delivering strong customer service to members and teams.

Qualifications

Must hold a national recognized personal training certification and CPR certification.
Availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and management.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the Personal Training department for a designated Genesis location, including recruiting, hiring, scheduling and training new trainers.
Ensure profitability of the personal training program by overseeing and following up with new members, department goals and customer satisfaction.
Maintain flexible scheduling to meet member and club needs.
Track and report new member fitness consultations and personal training sessions weekly and monthly.
Regularly meet with Club Manager to support club operations and requirements.
Complete profitability/goal reports and ensure timely documentation.
