Qualifications

• Must hold a current fitness certification from an approved education company (ACSM/ACE/NASM/NCSA/AFFA/NFPT).
• CPR/AED certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; degree in exercise science preferred.
• Previous personal training sales experience is a plus.
• Must pass a Strength and Conditioning Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new personal training staff with a 30-day plan and mentor as assigned.
• Schedule trainings to develop knowledge of the Peak or ABC Financial POS system relevant to the club.
• Coach trainers on conducting effective client consultations and training staff on appointment setting and prospecting.
• Lead by example in understanding PT policies and procedures, including cancel/freeze policies.
• Conduct session quality reviews of trainers and assign clients to new staff.
• Support sales strategies and new member engagement per the Personal Training Director.
• Perform monthly consults and monitor departmental KPI's to drive sales growth.
• Promote client retention through education and guidance to PT teams.
• Train staff on monthly business plans and provide daily/weekly reporting.
• Assist with interviews during visits to scheduled new Club openings and updates.
• Maintain Trainerize proficiency and high level of customer service with members.
• Conduct regular audits and ensure adherence to standards in client binders and profiles.
• Adhere to all Personal Trainer job description guidelines.
