Job summary

Planet Fitness, Inc. seeks a Personal Training Manager (PTM) to lead and grow the personal training program across the club. You will manage and mentor Personal Trainers, drive revenue, and ensure high-quality member interactions with a hands-on approach to daily training operations.

The role combines leadership with direct client training, maintaining a strong client load while supporting trainers to meet performance goals and deliver an exceptional PF experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Active Personal Training Certification (NCCA‑accredited) or Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or kinesiology.
• CPR/AED certification required; training within first 30 days.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Familiar with Planet Fitness brand and culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead Personal Trainers at the location and implement strategies to attract and keep members.
• Oversee the execution of personal training programs, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Maintain an active personal training schedule to drive revenue and lead by example.
• Monitor and track key performance metrics for PT revenue and member satisfaction.
• Ensure trainers follow company policies and proper documentation.
