Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a dedicated Personal Training Manager to oversee the PT department at a designated location, lead recruitment, hiring, scheduling and training of personal trainers, and drive profitability while ensuring member satisfaction.

The role requires weekend/evening availability, certification in personal training and CPR, the ability to build a strong team, maintain records, coordinate with the Club Manager, and uphold safety and club policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a national recognized personal training certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Personal Training department for a Genesis location.
• Recruit, hire, schedule and train personal trainers.
• Ensure profitability of the personal training program and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Track and report new member fitness consultations and training sessions.
• Meet with Club Manager to maintain club operations and requirements.
• Complete profitability/goal reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Ensure documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain equipment and update tracking systems for repairs.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and fulfill duties as assigned.
