Job summary

Life Time is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to support members in achieving healthier lives. You will build personalized programs, deliver safe training sessions, and provide exceptional customer service on the fitness floor.

Responsibilities include conducting initial consultations, promoting training services, and maintaining up-to-date certifications and ongoing education. This role emphasizes safety, motivation, and member engagement in a dynamic gym environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED Certified.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Licensed/Certified: CPT, CPR, AED.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instructs clients on safe use of cardiovascular, flexibility, and strength equipment.
• Conducts fitness consultations including pre-participation screening, medical history, and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to ensure safety and motivate members.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Documents all aspects of client programming.
• Keeps credentials and continuing education up to date.
