Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Personal Trainer to support members in achieving healthier, happier lives by building strong client relationships and delivering motivating, educational experiences.

You will develop personalized programs, conduct fitness consultations, and promote training services while ensuring safety, upholding Life Time standards, and maintaining accurate client documentation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified personal Trainer (CPT) required.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention.
• Monitors and instructs clients during personal training sessions on safe use of cardio, flexibility, and strength equipment.
• Reads, watches, and completes required role trainings.
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
• Fulfills member service requirements such as fitness assessments and equipment operations.
