Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Personal Trainer to support members in achieving healthier lives by building relationships and delivering education and positive service in alignment with the Life Time Brand.

The role requires creating safe, comprehensive client programs, conducting fitness consultations, promoting training services, and maintaining up-to-date certifications while delivering exceptional customer care on the gym floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED Certified.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instruct clients during training sessions on safe and effective use of cardio, flexibility and strength equipment.
• Reads, watches, and engages in all required training associated with the role.
• Conduct fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Provide fitness floor assistance to members to ensure safety and motivate.
• Fulfill member service requirements such as fitness assessments and equipment operations.
• Promote and sell personal training programs and services.
• Complete administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Remain current on certifications and industry trends.
• Ensure members feel competent and connected through superior customer service.
