Job summary

Life Time is seeking a qualified Personal Trainer to support members in achieving healthier lifestyles. You will design personalized programs, coach clients during sessions, and promote training services while upholding Life Time brand standards.

Responsibilities include consults, floor supervision, assessments, and ongoing education to help members stay motivated and safe. Competitive benefits and career growth available in a team-focused gym environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED Certified.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional client programs that drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instruct clients during sessions on safe use of cardio, flexibility and strength equipment.
• Conduct fitness consultations including screening, history, lifestyle questionnaire and goal setting.
• Provide fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
• Promote and sell personal training programs and services.
• Complete administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Stay current on certifications and industry trends.
