Job summary

Life Time is seeking Personal Trainers to help members achieve happier, healthier lives by building relationships and providing an educational, supportive experience that upholds the Life Time Brand.

You will develop safe and comprehensive client programs, conduct fitness consultations, supervise sessions, promote services, and maintain accurate client documentation while staying current on certifications and trends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified personal Trainer (CPT).
• CPR and AED certified.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention.
• Monitors and instructs clients during personal training sessions on safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training equipment.
• Reads, watches, and engages in required trainings associated with the role.
• Conducts fitness consultations including pre-participation screening, medical history, lifestyle questionnaire, and goal setting to assess and recommend training programs.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to all members for safety, education, and motivation.
• Fulfils member service requirements such as fitness assessments, equipment operation, service desk duties and equipment cleaning.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan.
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
• Ensures members feel competent and connected through superior customer service and programming.
• Documents all aspects of client programming.
• Remains current on credentials and continuing education to advance throughout the levels program.
