Job summary

Brighter Heights Maine is seeking a compassionate Personal Support Specialist to provide in-home care across Maine. The role focuses on helping adults maintain independence and comfort in their own homes, with opportunities where family caregivers can be paid for caregiving in Maine.

The schedule is flexible and benefits include training and mileage reimbursement. Responsibilities include following care plans, ensuring safety, observing changes, and maintaining required documentation.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience
• Applicants must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass background check.

• Following Plan of Care which may include personal care which may include feeding, bathing, dressing, mobility, and other services
• Meets safety needs of patients/clients and using equipment safely and property
• Observes and reports changes in the condition and needs of the client to the supervisor.
• Maintains and submits documents as required by agency policy and regulatory requirements.

Hours: 21 hours Monday-Friday, Schedule will be agreed on by client and our PSS.
