Brighter Heights Maine is seeking a Personal Support Specialist to provide in-home care to adults across the state, helping them maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

Roles are available in Pittsfield, Dexter and Exeter with flexible schedules and competitive wages. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check are required. Mileage reimbursement is provided where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Following Plan of Care including personal care tasks.
• Meet safety needs of patients and use equipment safely.
• Observe and report changes to supervisor.
• Maintain and submit documents per agency policy.

We are seeking PSS staff for clients in:

Pittsfield: 11.75 hours over 4 days

Dexter: 25 hours over 7 days

Exeter: 16.25 hours over 5 days

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

We provide services for adults throughout the state, allowing them to maintain their independence and dignity in a setting where they are most comfortable-their own homes. People caring for their own family members in many areas of Maine may be paid for their caregiving!

Overview:

Provides direct care home health services to meet the client's personal needs, promote the client’s comfort, and create a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Following Plan of Care which may include personal care which may include feeding, bathing, dressing, mobility, and other services
• Meets safety needs of patients/clients and using equipment safely and property
• Observes and reports changes in the condition and needs of the client to the supervisor.
• Maintains and submits documents as required by agency policy and regulatory requirements.
