Brighter Heights Maine is seeking a Personal Support Specialist to provide direct home health care across Maine, helping clients maintain independence in comfortable home settings. The role offers weekend shifts with a pay rate of $16.50–$18.00 per hour and benefits such as mileage reimbursement and paid training.

Responsibilities include following care plans, ensuring safety, reporting changes to the supervisor, and completing required documentation.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Meets safety needs of patients/clients and uses equipment safely and properly.
• Observes and reports changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor.
• Maintains and submits documents as required by agency policy and regulatory requirements.

Job description:

9.25 hours a week on weekends- Saturday 4.5 hours and Sunday 4.75 hours

We are looking for caring, compassionate, energetic team players to join us as a Personal Support Specialist. We provide services for adults throughout the state, allowing them to maintain their independence and dignity in a setting where they are most comfortable-their own homes. People caring for their own family members in many areas of Maine may be paid for their caregiving! Rate range is from $16.50-$18.00/hr.
