Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking a Personal Lines Producer in a hybrid capacity for the Cleveland, OH area. The role centers on growing the Personal Lines book by developing client relationships, referrals, and Centers of Influence, while providing consultative insurance solutions.

You will work with carrier partners and internal teams to deliver tailored coverage, manage a sales pipeline, and drive retention through superior client service and market knowledge.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• 2+ years of Personal Lines insurance sales experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Proven ability to generate new business and grow client relationships.
• Ability to develop referral sources and centers of influence through networking.
• Existing professional network and community presence preferred.
• Strong consultative selling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of Personal Lines products, carriers, and coverage solutions.
• Independent work style with collaboration across teams and partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and agency management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and client service commitment

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to generate new Personal Lines opportunities.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through networking and referrals.
• Develop long-term client relationships and conduct reviews to identify coverage gaps.
• Assess client needs and recommend insurance solutions aligned with goals.
• Market and place programs by negotiating with carrier partners for competitive options.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with internal teams.
• Establish and maintain referral partnerships with Realtors, financial professionals, and others.
• Represent IOA at events to grow market presence.
• Build professional credibility through LinkedIn and other networks.
• Stay informed on carrier appetites, market trends, and industry best practices.
• Partner with service teams to ensure seamless client experience and retention.
