Job summary

The MEL C CLEMMONS AGENCY LLC is seeking a Personal Lines Producer to maintain and grow profitable relationships with personal lines clients and expand the book of business through new client sales. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, delivering timely quotes, and binding coverage while building strong client relationships, renewals, and retention.

• Hold the state-required insurance license and have at least two years of personal and commercial lines experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, rates, underwriting, coverages, and industry operations.
• Proven B2B sales success with strong presentation and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with clients via multiple channels.
• Maintain relationships through follow-up, quotes, and account support.
• Prospect round accounts and seek increases in coverage; network for new clients.
• Obtain best coverage and bind insurance; manage documentation and educate clients on coverages.
• Renewals and retention activities; maintain strong client relationships.
• Monitor sales metrics and document activity accurately; collaborate with team and mentor staff.
• Keep knowledge current on industry developments and new products.
