Job summary

Mountain Insurance Brokers is seeking a Personal Lines Producer to maintain and grow a profitable book of personal lines business. You will identify and quote opportunities, serve existing clients, and pursue new client relationships while collaborating with team members to meet targets.

The role emphasizes service, sales, and knowledge of personal lines products, with a focus on renewals and cross-selling in a growing market.

Qualifications

• Hold the insurance license required by your state and have a minimum of two years personal and commercial lines insurance account management experience, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products, rating and underwriting procedures.
• Proven business-to-business sales track record with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
• People-oriented, client-focused with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.
• Foster and maintain relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up and timely quotations.
• Prospect, round accounts, and solicit increases in existing client coverage; network for new clients.
• Obtain best coverage and rates; process quotes, bind coverage, and follow up with documentation.
• Support renewals and retention; maintain strong client relationships; document sales activity.
• Collaborate with team, mentor staff, and participate in meetings; maintain knowledge of industry changes.
