Brown & Brown in Meridian, ID is seeking a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join a growing team. You will handle high-volume client inquiries, process policy changes, and assist in new and retained business while ensuring timely responses and accuracy.

The role emphasizes strong communication and service excellence, with licensing support within 90 days and familiarity with Microsoft Office 365. A high school diploma is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 6 months P&C insurance experience. Licensing preferred; able to obtain within 90 days.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, OneNote, etc.).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives phone calls for quotes, changes to coverage and new policies.
• Completes changes/requests within 24 hours of receipt.
• Assists in production of new/enhanced accounts and retention of existing accounts.
• Responds to client requests for certificates of insurance or auto ID cards.
• Handles terminations or cancellations and collects premiums when applicable.
