Job summary

Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services, LLC is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to support the Personal Lines Department. You will manage policy changes, cancellations, and claims, while maintaining documentation and compliance in the Agency Management System.

Ideal candidates will hold an insurance license, excel in both team and independent settings, and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills to serve clients and carriers effectively.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must maintain an insurance license as mandated by state regulations.

• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of carrier and agency change procedures and industry specifics.
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to data maintenance in the Agency Management System.
• Effectively manage follow-ups generated in the Agency Management System.
• Cultivate and sustain quality relationships with carriers and coworkers.
• Ensure accurate documentation is maintained in the Agency Management System.
• Adhere to agency procedures and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Attend mandatory agency meetings and external functions, seminars, and conferences.
• Acquire the required insurance license and complete continuing education to maintain eligibility.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and management.
• Document processing of policy changes, cancellations, and claim payments.
• Review expiration reports to address missed or inactive policies and client accounts.
• Perform additional functions as assigned by management.
