Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services is seeking a Personal Lines Account Executive in Montrose, CO. You will service the book of business and support Producers, maintaining client records and processing policy changes and payments.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and time-management skills, with a preference for prior insurance customer service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Medical, dental, vision, and 401k with company match are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior general and insurance customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to adhere to a defined service process.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Competency using MS Word/Excel/Outlook and agency management system.
• Obtain and maintain insurance license as required.

Responsibilities

• Service the book of business and support Producers as assigned.
• Maintain records in the Agency Management System and ensure accuracy.
• Handle policy changes, cancellations, and billings.
• Provide accurate information to underwriters and management.
• Build relationships with clients, carriers, and coworkers.
• Attend agency meetings and training as required.
