Job summary

Relation Insurance, Inc. seeks a Director of Personal Lines in Belmont, MA to shape the strategic vision and oversee the Personal Lines department, driving profitability, market share, and client satisfaction.

You will mentor the service team, partner with sales and underwriting, design workflows, monitor metrics, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead initiatives including AI‑driven solutions to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; four-year degree required for leadership role.
• Property & Casualty License from domicile state required and must be maintained.
• Minimum 12 years account management experience in Personal Lines insurance.
• Experience using EPIC and AMS360 strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors the Personal Lines service team.
• Participates in strategic planning and growth of Personal Lines.
• Develops department strategies to meet client expectations.
• Collaborates with sales, underwriting, and other departments.
• Develops and implements efficient workflows to optimise service delivery.
• Ensures high-quality service and maintains strong client relationships.
• Monitors department performance metrics and reports to leadership.
• Maintains relationships with decision makers internal and external.
• Acts as primary contact for market coordinators with Regional/ National Broking Team.
• Leads with regular performance reporting and data-driven decisions.
• Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and industry standards.
• Identifies and mitigates risk; adopts innovative technology including AI.
• Performs other projects and tasks as assigned.
