Job summary

Element Risk Management is seeking a Personal Lines Client Service Specialist to service personal lines client needs by analyzing individual requirements, evaluating options, and supporting account managers and executives.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of personal lines insurance, and the ability to manage endorsements, billing, EOIs, and coverage changes for policyholders.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent is desired.
• Must be organized with demonstrated skills for effective communication both verbal and written with the ability to influence others.
• Should be familiar with all operations with a thorough understanding of the agency system.
• Should have at least five years of experience in personal lines underwriting and marketing with a multi-line insurance agency or brokerage operation.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Managers and Account Executives to develop and retain customers.
• Answer questions from clients regarding coverage.
• Assist existing policyholders with endorsements, billing, EOIs, and coverage changes.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Account Executives to provide feedback on customer and/or market conditions.
• Handle telephone calls and assist Account Managers and Account Executives with personal visits from customers pertaining to their risks and coverage requirements, claims, new business, remarkets and additional lines of coverage.
• Ensure that all requests for changes, endorsements, etc. are properly implemented and comport with company requirements.
• Other duties, as assigned.
