Job summary

Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services in Craig, CO is hiring a Personal Lines Account Executive to service a growing book of business. You will support Producers, manage client accounts, and ensure policy changes, billing, and submissions are handled accurately.

Candidates should have a High School degree or equivalent and prior insurance customer service experience. Strong communication, organization, and MS Office skills are essential, along with an active insurance license.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Prior general & insurance customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to adhere to a defined service process.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work productively in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Proficient with desktop or laptop computer and Microsoft Office.
• Obtain and maintain insurance license as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Sustain knowledge of carrier change procedures and industry specifics.
• Review reports generated by Agency management system.
• Maintain records of activity for each client in the Agency Management System.
• Ensure accuracy of each client account status and policy changes.
• Manage follow-ups in the Agency Management System.
• Keep Producer informed of important client account activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, carriers and coworkers.
• Provide accurate information to underwriters and support team.
• Adhere to agency procedures and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Attend mandatory meetings, seminars and conferences.
