Job summary

HUB International is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager in California to support clients, manage a book of insurance business, and work with Producers and the HUB team to ensure retention and service excellence.

You will prepare transactions, analyze coverage options, stay current with industry changes, and communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and partners. A minimum of 3 years in personal lines within a brokerage is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related personal lines experience within a brokerage environment.
• High school diploma/GED required; college degree strongly preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Producers and HUB personnel on client service, marketing, and renewal.
• Provides professional, courteous service to clients, carriers, and partners.
• Prepares transactions, paperwork, and processing for assigned accounts.
• Analyzes clients' objectives to determine suitable insurance plans.
• Keeps abreast of changes in the insurance industry and advises clients accordingly.
• Liaises between clients and carriers to resolve service issues and may negotiate.
• Identifies cross-sell and up-sell opportunities for HUB products.
• Maintains accurate account files and updates HUB systems.
• Prepares reports, proposals, and comparisons for management.
• May manage account rounding and development of new business.
• Organizes and conducts client meetings with producer or independently.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
