Job summary

Viper Staffing Services L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Personal Injury (Litigation) Paralegal to join our onsite legal team in Palmdale, CA.

You will support case management from inception through resolution, including legal research, document handling, and client communications. The ideal candidate has 3–10+ years of personal injury paralegal experience, strong knowledge of procedural law, and proficiency with LexisNexis/Westlaw.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of paralegal experience with a focus on personal injury law or civil litigation support.
• Proven knowledge of procedural law related to personal injury cases as well as general & commercial litigation practices.
• Proficiency in legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw; familiarity with iManage, PCLaw, and document review software is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at client interaction and maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Experience handling confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), legal drafting, proofreading, and document management systems.
• Ability to perform detailed legal research and support complex litigation processes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement agreements related to personal injury cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategy and factual development.
• Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date.
• Coordinate with clients for interviews, gather medical records, police reports, and other pertinent evidence necessary for case development.
• Track case deadlines and court filings to ensure compliance with procedural law requirements.
• Support litigation processes by reviewing documents for relevance and accuracy, assisting with deposition preparation, and organizing trial materials.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and other stakeholders while handling confidential information with discretion.
• Prepare detailed reports on case status updates for attorneys and clients regularly.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
