Personal Injury Case Manager Salary: $60-70k base salary (flexible/based on experience) + full comprehensive benefits Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to join a growing legal team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience managing bodily injury and personal injury claims who is comfortable handling a high-volume caseload and communicating directly with clients, insurance carriers, and medical providers.

The Case Manager will oversee files throughout the pre-litigation process, helping move cases efficiently from initial intake through treatment, demand, negotiation, and resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury and bodily injury matters from intake through settlement
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and provide regular case updates
• Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, attorneys, and other involved parties
• Monitor clients’ medical treatment and maintain accurate treatment and billing records
• Obtain and review medical records, bills, accident reports, insurance information, and other case documentation
• Investigate claims and gather supporting evidence and documentation
• Identify outstanding case needs and proactively move files toward resolution
• Draft, compile, and submit settlement demand packages
• Assist with settlement negotiations and maintain communication with insurance carriers throughout the claims process
• Organize case files and maintain accurate, detailed documentation
• Assist with preparation for mediation, arbitration, litigation, or trial when necessary
• Coordinate with attorneys and support staff regarding case strategy, deadlines, and next steps
• Maintain strong client relationships, particularly when working with individuals who have experienced serious injuries or traumatic events
• Ensure cases are handled in accordance with applicable legal and ethical requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in personal injury, bodily injury, or a related legal environment strongly preferred
• Experience handling personal injury cases from intake through demand and settlement highly preferred
• Ability to effectively manage a high-volume caseload
• Strong understanding of the personal injury claims process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and independently manage assigned files
• Professional and empathetic approach to client communication
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
