Job summary

Our client, a well-established personal injury law firm, is seeking a Personal Injury Case Manager to handle a caseload from intake to settlement. You will focus on client communication, medical treatment coordination, insurance claims, case preparation, and negotiations.

The ideal candidate has PI experience and will work directly with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel. This is a full-time role with a potential for growth in a busy, high-volume practice.

Qualifications

• Some experience or exposure to personal injury law preferred.
• Experience handling bodily injury cases from start to finish preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities independently.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of bodily injury cases from start to finish.
• Investigate and analyze cases to determine appropriate next steps.
• Locate and interview witnesses, review police reports and medical records, and conduct necessary research.
• Monitor client medical treatment and communicate with medical providers.
• Prepare and send demand packages.
• Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial by organizing evidence and drafting pleadings.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Maintain frequent communication with clients and keep them informed of case status.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Ensure clients understand and approve actions being taken on their behalf.
• Manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain organized case files and handle administrative responsibilities.
• Supervise support staff and delegate tasks as needed.
• Maintain compliance with applicable legal and ethical requirements.

The Personal Injury Case Manager will manage a caseload of personal injury files from initial client contact through settlement, with a focus on client communication, medical treatment, insurance claims, case preparation, and negotiations.
