Jobot, an award-winning boutique law firm in Austin, seeks a driven attorney to join its growing team. You will handle a full litigation docket from day one, sharpening trial skills in a supportive environment with strong staff and growth pathways.
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of litigation experience, a J.D., and Texas bar admission. Spanish is a plus. This on-site role offers mentorship, competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement in a collaborative firm setting.
Formación
- J.D. and active Texas bar license (Texas licensed applicants only).
- 1–3 years of litigation experience.
- Personal injury litigation background required.
- Trial experience is a plus but not required.
- Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.
- Must reside in Austin or the surrounding area.
Responsabilidades
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Respond to and object to discovery.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Conduct legal research.
- Argue motions in court.
- Lead case strategy and investigations.
- Collaborate across dockets.
- Participate in trials.
- Manage settlement disbursements.
