Job summary

Spindle is actively hiring Instructional Aides to support students 1:1 in a structured school setting. This is a per diem, as-needed position with shifts available based on school coverage needs.

Responsibilities include supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially; providing 1:1 or small-group assistance; and assisting with daily routines, transitions and classroom participation. Prior experience in schools or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age required.
• TB test per district requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk and assist with lifting as needed.

Requirements (School Compliance)

To work in schools, you must meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed

Clearances must be current or willing to obtain prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges

CPI, PMT, or RBT experience a plus (not required)
