Job summary

Spindle is actively hiring Instructional Aides to support students 1:1 in a structured school setting. This is a per diem, as-needed position with shifts available based on school coverage needs.

Responsibilities include supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially; providing 1:1 or small-group assistance; and assisting with daily routines, transitions and classroom participation. Prior experience in schools or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age required.
• TB test per district requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk and assist with lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and staff.
• Assist with daily routines, transitions and classroom participation.
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as applicable.
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
