Job summary

Spindle is actively hiring Instructional Aides to support students 1:1 in school settings. These per diem, as-needed positions offer flexible schedules based on coverage needs. Spindleis actively hiring Instructional Aidesto support students 1:1.. These roles are ideal for compassionate professionals who want to make a meaningful impact while working in a structured school setting.

This is a per diem, as-needed position with shifts available based on school coverage needs.

Position Responsibilities

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as applicable
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements (School Compliance) To work inschools, youmust meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed

Clearances must be current or willing to obtain prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT Certification active on BACB website
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented mindset
