Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver in Floyd County, GA to support seniors at home. This role offers flexible scheduling and a strong emphasis on client-centered care within a trusted national home care provider.

You will help with daily living activities, monitor condition, and contribute to a safe, joyful home environment through companionship and basic care tasks.

Competenze

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• GA Personal Care Assistant Certificate required or Interim can assist with certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification current.
• TB Screening current (within 12 months).
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and personal vehicle.

Mansioni

• Provide personal care and support to seniors at home.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and communicate concerns to a supervisor.
• Create a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Engage clients in activities like puzzles, games, and reading.

As a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and Personal Care Assistant Certificate in GA (Interim can assist with certification)
• One (1) year of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Current hands-on CPR and First Aid certification and current TB Screening (within 12 months)
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and personal vehicle for transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
