Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver in Fayette County, GA. This role offers a $200 sign-on bonus and the chance to design your career around your life with 1:1 client ratios and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, medication reminders, and keeping a safe home environment while delivering compassionate, client-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Personal Care Aide certification in GA (Interim can assist with certification).
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB screening current.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to help seniors live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals).
• Assist with mobility, transferring, and range of motion.
• Provide medication reminders and document client status for supervisor.

As a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Active Personal Care Aide certification in GA (Interim can assist with certification)
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred.
• Current hands-on CPR/First Aid certification and current TB screening.
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
