Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Northern Indiana in Cromwell, IN is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants/Caregivers to provide personal care and support to seniors at home. You’ll assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, shopping, transportation and companionship, helping clients live safely and happily at home.

We offer competitive pay ($19–$22/hour), 1:1 aide-to-client ratios, flexible scheduling, online training with CEUs, and tuition discounts through Rasmussen University.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role (preferred).
• CPR certification
• Valid IN driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• HHA certificate showing 75 hr core competencies
• CNA License

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies
