Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Madison, WI is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support seniors at home. This part-time role offers competitive pay and a flexible schedule, with responsibilities including bathing, dressing, meal prep, light housekeeping and companionship to help clients live independently.

The ideal candidate has a CNA license or HHA certification where required, CPR, reliable transportation, and a compassionate, patient-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred.
• CNA License or HHA Certificate (state requirements).
• CPR certification.
• Valid WI driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature with good communication; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways and engage clients in activities.
