Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) in Cromwell, IN to deliver compassionate at-home care. You’ll assist with activities of daily living, provide companionship and help clients remain independent in familiar surroundings.

Qualifications

• HHA certificate showing 75 hr core competencies.
• CNA License required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature with good communication skills and physical capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to help seniors live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Maintain a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Engage clients in activities like puzzles, games and reading to promote well-being.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home

A few must-haves for Certified Nursing Assistants/Caregivers:

• HHA certificate showing 75 hr core competencies
• CNA License
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• Valid IN driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
