Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) for part-time hours in the Sioux Falls area. You will assist clients at home with daily living activities, hygiene, grooming and companionship, with opportunities for growth in hours as available.

We offer a pay rate of $18 per hour, weekly pay, and a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and overnight shifts. A 401(k) match, holiday pay and weekend/night differentials enhance the package.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in a comparable care aide role.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR preferred, but not required.
• Two professional references required.
• Background check conducted.
• Driver’s license and current car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Aid with hygiene, grooming and comfort needs, including toileting and bathing.
• Assist with shopping, meal prep, light housekeeping and social activities.

Personal Care Aide (PCA) job duties may include:

• The Personal Care Aide is responsible for the tasks of personal care and incidental activities of daily living for clients of all ages in client homes.
• Provides aide for client's hygiene, grooming and comfort needs, i.e., toileting, bathing, companionship
• Provide aide with shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping and socialization activities

Experience:

• Six months’ experience in a comparable care aide job classification, current CNA license or completed first semester of nursing school
• Must be 18 years of age
• CPR preferred, but not required
• 2 professional references required
• Background check
• Driver’s License and current car insurance
