Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Fargo, ND is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) for PRN/part-time shifts. You will provide in-home care, assist with daily living activities, hygiene, grooming, and companionship to clients in their homes.

Requirements include at least 6 months of experience in a care aide role, being 18 or older, a current CNA license or currently in nursing school, CPR preferred, driver's license with proof of insurance, and a background check with two references.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in a comparable care aide role.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Current CNA license or enrolled in nursing school (first semester).
• CPR preferred, but not required.
• Driver’s license and car insurance.
• Background check.
• Two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care and incidental activities of daily living.
• Assist with hygiene, grooming, toileting, bathing and companionship.
• Assist with shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping and socialization.

Personal Care Aide (PCA)job duties may include:

• The Personal Care Aide is responsible for the tasks of personal care and incidental activities of daily living for clients of all ages in client homes.
• Providesaidefor client's hygiene, grooming and comfort needs, i.e.toileting, bathing, companionship
• Provideaidewith shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping and socialization activities

Experience:

• Six months’ experience in a comparablecare aidejob classification, current CNA license or completed first semester of nursing school
• Must be 18 years of age
• CPR preferred, but not required
• 2 professional references required
• Background check
• Driver’s License and current car insurance
