Job summary

Interim HealthCare seeks a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to deliver compassionate in-home care in Sioux Falls, SD. You will assist with daily living activities, hygiene, grooming, and companionship.

This PRN/part-time role pays $18/hour with weekly pay, flexible days/evenings/overnights, on-call support, and CE credits. Six months’ experience or CNA/licensure required; 18+; CPR preferred; two references and background check.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in a comparable care aide role or CNA license.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR preferred but not required.
• Two professional references required.
• Background check and driver’s license with current insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Provide hygiene, grooming and comfort support.
• Assist with shopping, meal prep, light housekeeping and socialization.

Personal Care Aide (PCA) job duties may include:

• ThePersonal Care Aideis responsible for the tasks ofpersonal careand incidental activities of daily living for clients of all ages in client homes.
• Providesaidefor client's hygiene, grooming and comfort needs, i.e., toileting, bathing, companionship
• Provideaidewith shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping and socialization activities

Experience:

• Six months’ experience in a comparablecare aidejob classification, current CNA license or completed first semester of nursing school
• Must be 18 years of age
• CPR preferred, but not required
• 2 professional references required
• Background check
• Driver’s License and current car insurance
