Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver in Forsyth, GA. This role offers flexible scheduling and balance with family or studies while delivering in-home care to clients.

You’ll assist with activities of daily living, provide care and monitor client condition, and keep families informed. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and CPR; GA driver's license and vaccination card recommended.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Covid-19 vaccination card required.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, good communicator, able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify a supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
