Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support clients in their homes in Fargo, ND. Flexible schedules are offered, you provide your availability and we schedule you accordingly.

Pay is $18 per hour, paid weekly, with 24/7 on-call support. Job duties include assisting with daily living activities, hygiene, grooming, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. Requirements include six months’ experience (or current CNA license/first nursing semester), age 18+, two

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a comparable care aide role or current CNA license or nursing school first semester completed.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR is preferred but not required.
• Two professional references required.
• Background check and valid driver’s license with current car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for clients in their homes.
• Assistance with hygiene, grooming, toileting, bathing, and comfort needs.
• Help with shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and socialization.

Education

Six months' experience in a comparable care aide role or current CNA license or nursing school progression

Personal Care Aide (PCA)job duties may include:

• The Personal Care Aide is responsible for the tasks of personal care and incidental activities of daily living for clients of all ages in client homes.
• Providesaidefor client's hygiene, grooming and comfort needs, i.e.toileting, bathing, companionship
• Provideaidewith shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping and socialization activities

Experience:

• Six months’ experience in a comparablecare aidejob classification, current CNA license or completed first semester of nursing school
• Must be 18 years of age
• CPR preferred, but not required
• 2 professional references required
• Background check
• Driver’s License and current car insurance
