Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Personal Banking Advisor in Lowell, MA to serve as a financial consultant for members, handling new accounts, loans, and a range of banking products. The role emphasizes cross-selling, service excellence, and building lasting member relationships.

You will educate members on suitable products, promote branch goals, and support community engagement while maintaining compliance and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related experience in banking or financial services.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; banking experience preferred.
• Michigan-based employees must hold a valid Michigan Producer License.
• Must be able to register through NMLS and obtain notary certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative approach.
• Knowledge of LMCU products and ability to cross-sell effectively.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets in a branch environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized financial solutions through consultative member interactions.
• Process new consumer accounts, loans, credit cards, and business products.
• Cross-sell LMCU offerings to achieve branch sales and service goals.
• Represent LMCU in the community and support branch initiatives.
• Mentor peers and participate in projects while upholding company values.
• Assist with branch operations and cover peak times as needed.
