Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union in Lowell, Michigan is seeking a Personal Banking Advisor to serve as a financial consultant for members, handling new accounts, loans, and a range of banking products while building lasting relationships.

You will educate members on products, cross-sell loans, credit cards, mortgages, and retirement accounts, meet branch goals, and maintain high service standards with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• Michigan Resident Producer Credit Insurance License required for Michigan employees.
• External candidates must complete licensing and certification within 90 days.
• Ability to become registered through NMLS and achieve notary certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with members.
• Deep knowledge of LMCU products and services for accounts and loans.

Responsibilities

• Promote trusted, consultative member interactions and cross-sell products.
• Establish personalized financial solutions for consumer and business members.
• Process new accounts, loans, and various banking products accurately.
• Meet branch goals while maintaining high service standards.
